Fishing
Fishing Kodiak for Halibut, Salmon and more. Fish from our 43 foot charter boat in saltwater, or fish freshwater streams and rivers on the island. The fishing is exiting and there is always something biting. Guided fishing is included in our wildlife vacation tour packages.

Halibut Fishing Kodiak Halibut Fishing
We usually fish for Halibut in 40 to 120 Feet of water. Using shiny jigs with a chunk of cut bait, such as Herring works well. With many years of experience, your captain and guide are able to put you over productive fishing hot spots.

Salmon are abundant around Kodiak Island, Alaska. We fish for Silver Salmon both in salt and fresh water. When Fishing for Silvers ("chromers") in salt water, things can get very exiting, especially when several people hook up at the same time. A short trek up a secluded Kodiak river means a great time with a spinning rod, or fly fishing. All five species of Alaska salmon can be found around Kodiak island.
